BANGKOK 2013

Bangkok is my second home.

The happiest place on earth (for me)

Its also a good place to go shopping.

They also have rich culture and nice places to visit.

The hotels are very affordable

The food is cheap and clean (a mixture of sweet, sour, salty and spicy)
.......................................

This year, I went to visit my second home with my bestfriendenemy

Its his first time so I want him to have a good time.

I booked my favorite hotel in Pratunam

Bodacco, The Living Place.

The hotel is chic, affordable and clean.

They also have good service and serve delicious breakfast.

I love the toasted bread, butter and strawberry jam

.......................................

The hotel is near the shopping malls and markets.

I love Pratunam Market which is 2min walk from the hotel.

Its a good place to buy clothes for women.

The more items you purchase, the cheaper.

Try the Thai Milk Tea THB20-30 each cup

............................................

Across Pratunam Market is Platinum Mall (Fashion Mall)

Its a 7 storey mall that sells clothes, shoes, accessories, etc.

there's also a food market outside the mall.

The strawberry yogurt is a must try for only 25 THB
................................

After Platinum Mall, you can walk to the next shopping mall

Central World.

There's a shrine outside the mall and you'll see locals praying and offering fruits, etc.

You should try the food court on the heighest floor. It's so clean.

After Central World, just keep walking.

You'll see Siam Center, Paragon, Discovery and Siam Square.

Dont forget to try the desserts in Magnum Cafe.

After the Magnum Experience, go to the other side of the mall.

Siam Paragon

Siam Paragon is a highend mall. There's a lot of attractions to try and see

 Try the 5star movie experience.

Too bad we didnt get to take photos.

After watching movie in a lazy boy couch for two pax and experiencing the complimentary foot massage for 15 mins with complimentary cake and drinks

Try to visit Siam Underwater World and Kidzania

for sure kids will enjoy the place.

After Siam, you can take the BTS train to Asoke and visit Terminal 21 Mall. Every floor has its theme (Rome, Tokyo, London, etc.)

Its a good place to take photos

After Terminal 21, look for the Citibank exit, walk to Soi Cowboy and Nana.

After Terminal 21 (Asoke Station) take another BTS to Thong Lo

From Thong Lo station, ride a cab to Seenspace (Mellow)

The Sparkling Jelly Sake is a must try!!!!

SIROCCO

When my friends and I went to Bangkok last year, I wanted to try Sirocco but since we're all girls, we didn't push thru.

This year, I was able to go back to my comfort zone. Bangkok.

I made sure to book a reservation for me and my best friend enemy since its his first time to visit my favorite place.

A month before our trip, I made a reservation for two pax around 6:00 p.m so we'd be able to enjoy the sunset.

After our last minute shopping in Jatujak, we went back to the hotel to change clothes.

Our hotel is located at Pratunam near Baiyoke Sky.

We rode a tuktuk from the hotel to Sirocco @ Lebua (Silom Area)

The tuktuk cost us 150 THB

1THB- Php1.50

Sirocco is at 64th floor of Le Bua State Tower

When we arrived, the usherettes asked us to stay in Distil since they're still preparing the table.

Sirocco opens at 6pm and the live band starts at 7:30 p.m.

We ordered the signature Dome Margarita

The price is a bit expensive compared to other restaurants and bars
Thanks to the waiters who took our photos .

After our dinner, they prepared a little something for us.

Happy 9th month Miko!

Thanks Sirocco! We'll see you again next year :)

JAPANESE and TEA

A few days ago, I downloaded an application that translates Japanese to English and English to Japanese.I'm also trying to learn how to write Hiragana.

I remember when I was in grade school, my mom bought a Japanese dictionary, we both tried to study nihonggo. She taught me how to count from 1-10 and the basics like ko ni chi wa,genki desuka, genki desu, arigato, anatano namae wanan desuka, etc.

Luckily, I can now write numbers, months and days in Japanese.

.......

Mitsuyado Sei-men or House of Tsukemen is located at Jupiter Street in Makati.

It's across Buendia Car Exchange
The Japanese vibe. wooden tables and chairs, looks like you're in a Japanese Street
I usually order their plain tsukemen. It's 230/order. You can choose from cold/ hot noodle.
There's also cheese sauce, curry, etc.

They also have nice tables and private rooms

I ordered for a Strawberry crushed ice with ice cream for dessert but it's not available so I had coffee jelly with vanilla ice cream instead.

..................................................................................

After my food adventure with Mitsuyado Sei-men, I went to Greenbelt to meet one of my best friends (Na). My phone's lowbat and I dont know how to contact her.

Thank Goodness! Martha was there.... I borrowed her phone and tried to call Na
(Martha-my other best friend)

Na and I decided to have tea so we went to TWG or The Wellness Group and ordered for a  Mango Crumble, Raspberry muffin and greentea with strawberry
